Well, GOD DAMN! Activision knows how to make an entrance don't they. They have released the full trailer for the Salvation DLC Pack 4 Zombies map called "Revelations". This is the Prologue to the map or the opening cinematic that you will see when you launch the Zombies map.


They released this video today via the official Call of Duty Twitter account (video seen below). Firstly, if you haven't seen this video then just watch it then we will go over what we learn from it.

This means that this DLC has a big focus on the Zombies side of Black Ops 3, however, as to be expected there will be 4 Multiplayer maps because Treyarch is required to release 4 Multiplayer maps with each of their DLC Packs due to the terms of the season pass.


The Zombies map is:

• Revelations

The four Multiplayer maps are as follows:

• Micro

• Rupture

• Outlaw

• Citadel

Now, which map is remade? Well, I think that there are two maps that look a little bit like the Outskirts maps from World at War. Both Outlaw and Rupture look a bit like the old church that is in the Outskirts map from WaW. However, this is just speculation and I am not sure which of the maps is a remake and of which game and map it has be remade from. We will not know about the multiplayer maps until a Multiplayer portion of the DLC Pack trailer is released which should be within a day or so from now.


Turns out that my speculation about the Rupture map was correct because it was tweeted out by Call of Duty Intel saying that it is indeed a remake of the Outskirts map from World at War.

It appears that I was wrong about the Outlaw map because from this tweet from Call of Duty Intel it says that the Outlaw map is actually a remake of the Black Ops 2 Standoff map which was a fan favourite map. I loved playing this map in the Black Ops 2 multiplayer. Meaning that there will be two remake maps in this DLC Pack.

Let's talk more about the Zombies portion of the Salvation DLC Pack 4. Firstly, we now have a suggestion as to who the character that if started to piece together is. If you didn't see the post where I started to piece together a character from the small sneak peak trailer released yesterday then check it out here. The picture that I got can be seen below and there are two possibilities as per who this could be.


It could be this man who is the Shadow man who lets the race of Apothicons out.


Or it could be this man who is Dr. Monty and he is the person you have been hearing all this time.


However, I could be wrong about this! It could be a completely different character that you will meet at some point during the play through of this map, but, I think that it is the second of the two men.

Let's talk about the characters that we can see in the trailer. At the start we see all the young main characters Edward Ricktofen, Tank Dempsey, Nikolia Belinksi, Takeo Masaki and Samantha Maxis. The place they are in is a secluded house which looks really nice and is described as a "safe place".


Also, we see an Apothicon Worm go across the screen which is insane and massive.


Finally, I want to talk about the possibility of a new weapon because it appears that Tank Dempsey is holding a weapon that I have never seen before. It kind of looks like a Dingo without the barrel magazine, also, it looks like a shotgun from the front. Now Nikolai Belinksi seems to be holding a KRM-262, Takeo Masaki has his well know swords and Edward Richtofen looks to have an MR6 pistol.
