In this post I am going to be discussing a Grand Theft Auto 5 Glitch that has made thousands of player BILLIONAIRES over night! This glitched was patch by Rockstar almost as fast as it was found meaning that the glitch was only around for a few hours. This means that not that many people were able to do this glitch. As a result of this glitch Rockstar has started a new ban wave and have been banning lots of accounts to try and get rid of most of the glitched money. This means that there has been lots of false bans and in some cases people have wrongfully had there accounts deleted completely.



So when did this glitch come out? The best guess is that this glitch was added to the game when Rockstar released the Stunt Race Creator and Entourage game mode because this is the most recent big update that was brought to the game.

Okay then, but, what is the glitch in question? This is a very simple money glitch that doesn't require a complicated method of actions to complete. Which means that you may have accidentally done this glitch without even knowing about it. Well for the players returning from last generation console if they had an account on either the Xbox 360 or PS3 and then transferred the account to current generations platforms like PC, PS4 or Xbox One then if you register that account as a CEO and had a set of office then whenever you swapped to your second character you would revive $825,000 in cash. Once players found out that they could do this multiple times and still get the $825,000 then they started to exploit it and gain Billions upon Billions of Dollars because with this glitch the SKY WAS THE LIMIT!



So what about bans then? Well Rockstar keep a record of every single transaction you make with your character online even the smallest little transaction. For example, they will have a record of that one E-Cola that you purchased for the 24 Hour convenience store. So with this glitch the money is very easy to track down because you are getting the exact same amount of money each time so Rockstar have been working to remove all the glitched money either through banning the accounts that did it or through just taking the money out of your accounts. However, if you were someone who did do this glitch and you spent the money on a new apartment or some fancy new cars then you shouldn't worry as much because it is much harder for Rockstar to remove the money if you have already spent it.



What about these false bans? Well as with any time that Rockstar are trying to ban people that were glitching there system can get it wrong and you could get a wrongful ban. There is not much that you can do if you do get a false ban. Here are some suggestions:

• Tweet Rockstar and Rockstar support on twitter (@RockstarSupport @RockstarGames).
• Email Rockstar directly to get a response.
