Massive GTA 5 Online DLC Rumours & Map Expansion - Predicted Upcoming Grand Theft Auto Online DLC's - Real or Fake??

Grand Theft Auto 5 Online is being kept alive and fresh for the players due to Rockstar releasing DLC for the game. Some of the DLC's that we have had include Lowriders, Finance and Felony and much more. The big thing in the GTA 5 community now is guessing what the next DLC is going to be whether that is through leaked information or in-game files people are devoting lots of time to making educated guesses about the next DLC's. Currently, we are expecting a Biker DLC as the next one, but, what comes after that? Also, when is the DLC going to stop being released for Grand Theft Auto Online. Well in this post I am going to talk about some information regarding all the next DLC's and whether the information is fake or real.

The information in question comes from the GTA Forums and a user by the name of SoftSecrets posted some interesting information on a thread. So let's see what this person has to say. Here is a list of the DLC's that he says are coming to GTA 5 Online:

  • Biker DLC:
    • Bikes, clothes, free roam missions
    • Purchase clubhouse to activate "biker" free roam missions

  • Law and Order DLC:
    • Police free roam and vehicles
    • Purchase police vehicles to activate free roam police mission

  • The Luxury Living DLC:
    • Mansions & Pets
    • Purchase Mansion to purchase exotic pets that will only be on the mansion grounds.

  • Blaine County and Paleto Bay DLC
    • Animals in free roam
    • Animals online syncing workaround via VIP missions type activation

So they are all the DLC's that this GTA Forum user is suggesting is coming to Grand Theft Auto Online. However, that is not all that this user is saying is going to happen in GTA Online. Some of the other things that he says are going to happen include:
  • Purchase a hunting license and equipment to activate hunting objectives
  • Purchase new warehouses and properties
  • North Yankton and Liberty City Online Map Expansion
    • First paid DLC for GTA 5 Online
    • Not yet complete
    • 2017 Sept
  • San Fierro and Las Ventures
    • Online map expansion
    • Paid DLC 2018 Oct
    • Not yet complete
  • Vice City ... Not until GTA VI, sometime around 2020 at the VERY earliest!
Additionally, he goes on to say:
  • San Fierro and Las Ventures were built alongside Los Santos way back in the early development stages of GTAV, Scrapped on PS3/Xbox for obvious reasons!!
  • After more than 3 years of rebuilding for PS4/XBO/PC,
  • Both are still being worked on with a release target of October 2018!
  • Single player DLC has been replaced with Online Map expansion model!
  • Mainly due to the unforeseen success of microtransactions and GTA online in general!
  • Liberty City will be released September 2017...
  • The DLC will include:
    • An Open ticket (for city slickers) to Liberty City!
    • An Open ticket (for Snow Blowers) to North Yankton!
    • EXCLUSIVE VIP Membership (for High rollers) which grants Exclusive access to THE CASINO in Los Santos!
    • Pre-Order Bonus of 1 million GTA Casino chips for pre-order!!
    • Micro transactions can NOT buy GTA CASINO CHIPS!
    • Liberty City, North Yankton and the Los Santos Casino scheduled together to keep player migration relatively balanced!!
    • Liberty City will enable you to trade on the stock market, once an Office has been *Purchased! Similar to the current crate set up!
  • Both DLC's will be priced equivalent to a full game!!

Ok, then this person has made some very bold statements about the possible GTA 5 Online DLC's. However, the question is now is the person a reliable source, can we put our trust into what this guy is saying? Well further down in his post he goes on to say that he has "posted on this forum twice". The other post that he is talking about is one from the 31st May 2013 which is before GTA 5 was released. In this post, he talked about GTA 5 Online and most of the things that he mentions in the post were true and they did appear in GTA 5 Online. This means that this guy wants us to trust him as a reliable source due to the fact that he "guessed" some of the features in GTA Online. So should we trust him? I personally don't trust this person because he could have made some educated guesses about the Online mode for GTA 5 using information from trailers, developer interviews etc. Furthermore, another member of the GTA 5 community who has been good at determining leaks and certain things about GTA 5 is Yan2295. Now this person most likely has an inside source and I would say that he is one of the most reliable sources of information and leaks for GTA 5 and Online. He replied with this post. He said some very interesting things in his post that contridict of prove that SoftSecrets is wrong. He said:

  • He talks about the casino; I was told casino is not happening.
  • He talks about Liberty City; I was told LC was never considered as a real project for GTA Online (just like any kind of map expansion I would assume).
  • Plus that's just way too much content. Here's something new for y'all: Last time I heard about that, they planned on making updates for GTA Online until Spring 2017, around that.

There is one very scary line in this post and that is that "updates for GTA Online" will last" until Spring 2017". This means that around this time we will see some information about GTA 6 and the HYPE train for Grand Theft Auto VI will start to gather pace.

Thanks very much for reading this post and I hope that you found it interesting. Let me know in the comments your thoughts about these fake DLC rumours because I want some of them to be true for example, the "Biker DLC" is like 70% confirmed and the "Luxury Living DLC" sounds awesome!
